Discount Cat Condo

So I got this on ThinkGeek.com for my kitties. There is actually only one, repeat ONE opening for kitties to get it and that is the top of the tank. The opening is really really really small. If you have one of those freakishly small kitties or a kitten, then it would be fine. I know I have a large mainecoon, but he's not fat at all and he can't fit through the opening. I had to cut one part of the panel off on the back of the tank for them to have any chance of climbing inside. Even after modification, my kitties still didn't want inside. Constructing the tank was also difficult. There was no instructions included and I had to origami my way to folding it together. Another bad selling point is that the turret of the tank just sits very loosely inside and it is easily knocked off which scares the poor kitties away. Ok, first off. this was more a purchase for me than for my cats. My cats are happy campers with the free boxes and rubberbands they find around the house.

That being said, it was a short lived dream of mine that they'd adopt this army tank as their "next favorite thing"

Pros:
*Freaking adorable for the .2 seconds you can wrangle your cat inside and see them pop their head out
*Crazy beautiful detail of the "paint job", both inside the tank and out
*somewhat (?) easy instructions on how to assemble.. but did have to tape areas to reinforce flaps

Cons:
*WAY TOO SMALL. Even our smaller cat is too big for this. There's no way he's ever actually go inside willingly, and this is a cat OBSESSED with boxes. When I was able to cover him with the box, and he popped out (after the aforementioned adorable .2 seconds), the top box got trapped on his waistline and he barely fit getting out.
