Discount Cat Condo

Sami Sosa is 15 now and after a complete health review we could not find a reason for her urinating on the door of our laundry room. The floor,and the hardwoods floor on the other side, the door and door jam now had to be replaced! We needed a good solution to not have a repeat of the damage after the replacement of new materials.
The solution was this 6 foot tall unit,I had seen a similar one at our vets for cats up for adoption.This still allows Sami her view out the 8 foot window and she now always uses the litter box in the new house! I can only believe that she feels more secure!?! She plays with her toys and rolls on the floor or her bed and is very happy all day!
We are thrilled that we did not have to give up on her. Her 18 year old companion cat, Sister, still roams nearby but Sami just looks down from her perch and watches the birds and squirrels out the window.
The new floors and door will be safe and the odor will be forever gone.

My cat was 15 years old and having potty box issues. We needed a place where he was confined and not peeing on the carpet so we could treat him. He did fine and loved being up high looking out the window during the daytime. Much better than a large crate with just one level for cat. Sadly we had to put our kitty down a few days ago. I would also say that this would be great for a new cat or a destructive kitten in the home.
Assembly was easy enough and needed no tools. Love that it has rollers and was very easy to move around the house. Clean up was ok. The bottom tray should have a higher lip on the sides for easier cleaning. The litter would get trapped on the outside of the wire. You'd have to take the top cage part off to be able to get it totally clean.

I bought this in hopes that our new rescue cat would find this a safe place to stay while I run errands. I never thought I would find a white wire one. It is just perfect. I have it setting right in front of a large window which has WHITE trim. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I hope the manufacturer decides to reintroduce this again because it is beautiful and functional. It also was very nicely constructed and I am very particular. ( My husband even liked it ! )
