It does a great job of self-cleaning, but there are still times when the odor is unbearable if our cat has done his business recently. This product is shocking in how effectively it masks the odor and deodorizer smells wonderful! I don't know how long the deodorizer smell will last on a regular litter box, but once an hour has gone by on the automatic one and it has completed a full rotation, the smell is gone but by that time so is all the cat poop. I'm very happy I tried this out months back and now it is a recurring purchase for our family. |
