this is the way to do it. It took my husband and I (you definitely need two people) about 45 minutes to put together. It is well made and looks very nice. FYI it is bright white in color. You would never know it held a litterbox. I did not install the divider as I wanted to put the "ultimate litterbox" in it. If you have this litterbox it will fit side to side perfectly but space will not allow the divider. Without the divider for support I would not recommend using it as a bench to sit on. I believe the weight of a person might cause damage. I lined mine with plastic shelf paper and then use old towels in front of the litter box to attract stray litter off the kitties feet. My kittens are four months old and immediately took to this unit. I have had it about three weeks and have no complaints. I did not purchase this from amazon but from the CSN site as I had a discount 20% off coupon and free shipping from them directly.

I've been fighting the war against the messy, smell cat box for years. My husband was going to build something similar when I found this online. We figured after materials purchased it would be about the same cost, so I ordered this from Amazon. It came yesterday and I was able to assemble it by myself very easily (and I'm currently 5 months pregnant).

Looks nice, is sturdy enough to stack storage containers on top of, and seems to be working great so far. The only change we made was to add small ball bearing casters to the bottom so it is easily movable for cleaning, etc. I would recommend this, as it weighs around 70 lbs and would be a pain to move otherwise.

This product was pretty much what I expected. It was delivered on time, and was fairly easy to put together. At this point my only complaint is that one of the doors keeps popping open. It looks like it's becoming a little warped over time which is causing it to not stay closed. If it weren't for that issue I'd give it 4 stars.
